BPO is proud of its ferric oxide production forthe pigment and hard and soft ferrite industries.

The iron oxide produced in BPO's Iron Oxide Plant is a valuable base material due to its specific properties. Chemical as well as physical properties of the oxide can be closely controlled using the spray roasting process. Bailey's custom designed rigorous SPC Program assures quality awareness through every step of the oxide production process. The demand for this product is constantly increasing throughout the world.

A world class QC/Laboratory facility, operated by a certified chemist, will perform all oxide and processed material analysis. This lab will be supervised directly from BPO's QC Department. 

The major analytical components utilized in this lab are:
  • a vacuum ICP
  • surface area analyzer
  • particle size analyzer
  • microwave digester
  • colorimeter
  • various density measuring devices
  • water distillation device
 

The results obtained from the analytical hardware then provide the basis for Bailey's SPC Program.

All personnel are formally trained and certified on Total Quality Management Procedures (TQM), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Industrial Process Control (IPC) using Thomas Pyzdek's Training and Testing Programs, and ISO 9002 Procedures.

BPO can custom manufacture oxide to customer specifications such as particle size, surface area, color shading, and other physical characteristics.

The iron oxide is sold in bulk 2000 pound super sacks and 50 pound bags and is stored in our many warehouses around the country.


BPO will package to individual customers specifications including customer supplied logo bags.

BPO can provide milling services in a broad range of grinding up to %100 passing a 400 mesh screen.
